Gregor Zemljic (1973), producer & sound engineer. Silence
were first introduced to Gregor Zemljic in the beginning of '98.
At that time, he was already a cult figure in the Slovenian underground and
club scene as the founding member of Random Logic, the renowned electro-minimal
project. Silence decided to record four songs for their second album,
Unlike A Virgin, in Random Logic's studio Microlab. Three
of these songs ended up on the album (Heavy Straighter, Nevermind The Bastard
and the hidden track, Tschudno), while the fourth song, a peculiar
little gem intitled Promises, still awaits a suitable occasion for
public release. Zemljic is Silence's sound engineer for
live performances, as well as a priceless advisor. In 2001, Random Logic
released their first CD, Numrebs. The critically acclaimed record received
the prestigious Decuvrier award from Radio France International
in 2002. Zemljic is currently engaged in his latest venture,
the recently opened Earrisistible Mastering Studio in Ljubljana.
