THE DAILY GIRL STUDIO

Silence's private studio (named after a centerfold that's been hanging on
the studio door since late 60's) has gradually evolved from a rehearsal area
into a modern recording and production facility.
Situated in a tranquil neighbourhood near the centre of Ljubljana and surrounded
by a lush garden, the studio contains the latest in recording equipment, a
wide selection of analogue and digital synthesizers, a Friedr. Ehrbar
grand piano and a Yamaha U3 upright piano. It is the perfect environment
for composing, recording and producing all kinds of electronically generated
music; theatre scores, movie soundtracks, commercials, jingles and LP's. The
studio is also equipped for high quality recording of vocals, strings and
acoustic guitars.
A great deal of Silence's opus has already been written and produced in the
studio:
- four soundtracks for theatre plays: Maison des rendez-vous
(2002), Wrestling Dostoievsky (2004), Lulubaj
(2004) and I Am My Own Wife (2007)
- four soundtracks for puppet shows: Peter Pan (1999),
Winnie The Pooh (2004), Peter Rabbit
(2005), and Lucky & Zorba (2008)
- the score for the biggest Slovenian media awards, Viktorji
(2001)
- Silence's fourth album, Vain - A Tribute To A Ghost
(2004)
- Veronika (2005), the soundtrack for Gagik Ismailian's
contemporary ballet Veronika decides...
- Volk (2006), Laibach's 12th album, composed and produced
by Silence
An ample collection of stylistically diverse music that emphasizes Silence's
creative versatility.
